I met Clarissa Lee, founder of the Clarissa Creative Foundation, over 25 years ago in Baltimore when we were both students. She was studying fine arts at the Maryland Institute College of Art and I was studying chemistry at a nearby college. Clarissa and I recently reconnected when she graciously accepted my children as her new piano students. When my wife and I learned that she had started an inspiring foundation that provides a tuition-free arts program to economically or socially disadvantaged youth, we knew we had to help.
Kabuto proudly supports the Clarissa Creative Foundation and its vision to "create a community where art is a positive, connecting force and the joy of art is created, shared and experienced by all."
We also believe in the power of art in uniting people and beautifying the world. Because a world without art ...is a pretty depressing place.
